Recommendations

It’s our recommendation that as you begin to acclimate yourself and your pet to this apparatus, you start in an area away from all distractions such as, other dogs, other people, and most importantly, away from any sort of other traffic. It’s also advised to start on a smooth and soft surface such as a grass field in case of any unintentional dismounts by either you or your dog, as this will provide a cushioned landing, and hopefully avoid any injury. Notice as you ride how to steady your pet with your knees by stopping your feet at the three o'clock and nine o'clock positions and gently applying pressure to the sides of their body. This will become a natural precaution as you approach obstacles or things that may distract your pet’s attention.

Notice also as you ride, how close you are positioned to your pet's ears. For this reason it’s important that you speak softly and calmly to them. With some practice, this will become a large part of the enjoyment of riding together. You will merely have to whisper to them, and you will be heard, and they will be alerted to obstacles, and other things to be looking for. This is truly an interactive experience, designed with the intention of enjoying the ride with your best friend. With practice, you will both become more skilled and comfortable with the experience.

Remember: Always operate cautiously when riding your bike. And that is especially true when riding with your best friend. As with any interactive sporting activity involving motion, reflexes, and judgment, there are inherent risks, which may include injury or even death. Please don’t let this happen to you as there are no liabilities associated or implied with the use of this devise. However with that said, if these recommendations are followed, and common sense used, many miles of incident free use will be enjoyed by both you and your beloved pet. This device is not recommended for the use of children under the age of twelve. And we recommend limiting the weight of the dog to about forty pounds. Always acclimate new rider combinations in the safest possible surroundings, away from any sort of traffic, and or distractions such as other dog’s.

So be careful, enjoy the ride and exercise, while you take in the experience of sharing the ride like never before.

Very Best Wishes,

Saki
